The Bishop Fenwick Assembly 100 4th Annual Patriot Dinner was sponsored by SK Mike Purdy and Riverside Cemetery and benefited the Norwalk Police Activities League - PAL. The dinner raised $1,100! The check was presented to Norwalk, CT Police Department Officer Matt Sauer and the Norwalk Public Safety Cadets. The Norwalk Public Safety Cadets were such a big help with kitchen clean up. A special thanks to Patriot Dinner Co-Chair Al Latte and the Sir Knights and St Ann volunteers for putting together a phenomenal dinner.
Our guest speaker former Norwalk Public Safety Cadet Captain and West Hartford Police Officer Noah Velez gave an inspiring and heartfelt speech. In addition the 50/50 raffle raised $1,040 for youth of the Norwalk Public Safety Cadets to purchase supplies and apparel. Members of Bishop Fenwick Assembly 100 helped do Spring Cleaning at Mill Pond Park in Norwalk as part of the Mayor’s Clean City Initiative. Hundreds of pounds of trash was removed.
