Orinoco Assembly recently celebrated their 75th Anniversary. Also this year the Connecticut Fisher House celebrated their First Year Anniversary. . The Assembly donated 5 * $50.00 gift cards tor a major grocery chain to the Fisher House so they can give them to the families staying there while their Veteran family members are receiving treatment at the adjoining VA Hospital.
Please see attached picture of the gift presentation and the letter of thank you from the West Haven Fisher House.
I'm passing this along to you in case you could use an example of the 4th Degree and their patriotic commitment in action.

The beret should be worn as follows:
Wear the beret so that the headband is straight & level all around the circumference of the head, one inch above the eyebrows, with the KofC Medallion centered over the left eye and the excess beret material draped over to the right, down to at least the top of the ear, but no lower than the middle of the ear. A dip is formed in the wool, just behind the flash stiffener, and a slight fold is formed to the right front of the
beret, next to the flash.
Tie off the adjusting ribbon into a non-slip knot, cut off the excess adjusting ribbon as close to the knot as possible, and tuck the knot into the edge binding at the back of the beret.
A short tutorial presented at The Master's Meeting, St Andrew's Parish, Bridgeport, CT, 9/22/2019 on how to shape & wear the KofC Beret. The presenter is Sir Knight Cristito Cruz a retired veteran of The Air Force
The video starts just after Cristito removed the satin liner of the Beret. The satin liner must be cut completely out so as to remove the bulk of it and allow the Beret to form correctly more readily.
Also, the Beret should be worn with the Beret "LEVEL" all the way around your head leaving a gap of about 1. inch above the eyebrows & the KofC Medallion centered over the left eye.
Following Cristito's instructions will result in the proper way to prepare, shape & dress your Beret.
